Sometimes you just don’t have any extra time to be effin around in the kitchen, and on a day like that you can still prepare yourself a wholesome spinach meal. I’m talking about three ingredients, already in your fridge, and ready to throw in the blender. That’s right, I said it, a blender. Not a fancy juicer, just a regular old-fashioned mechanism for chopping things up into different consistencies and it even has a puree button. I started with a juicy, ripe pineapple; cored and peeled, just waiting for some action. Chop it up, toss it in, pile the spinach on top and add about 1/2 cup of water. After you have turned the contents into a green pulpy mess, add one chopped up Granny Smith apple, cored and peeled. Puree until desired smoothness, and voila!
